You can't be a real person just by being born a human being. That is why I want the initiation to achieve humanity. Human service is the true mantra of that initiation of social people. The ultimate religion of man is to revive the helpless, proletarian, frustrated people of the society. Human service is the name of giving up one's own interests and devoting oneself to the service of others. Among all the great deeds in the world, the place of human service is above all. Great vow of human service. Every moment of human life is blessed with the gift and service of others. Religious consciousness has inspired people to serve. Although there are ritual differences between different religions, the teachings of human welfare exist in all religions. Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Christianity, all religions have repeatedly stated the existence of the Creator in man. It has been said that human service is the service of the Creator. The great men have taught the people of the world by their advice that ‘the service of creation is the service of the Creator, human service is social service.’ Everyone has the right to human service. This right is not for the purpose of realizing anything. Those who are rich will donate money in the absence of the poor. Those who can't afford it will work. The value of manual labor in human service is immense. The perfection of service is in the sense of money-labor-love. For the welfare of humanity, various types of public service organizations have been formed all over the world. Human service awakens and keeps human humanity alive. The success of life lies in human service.

মানুষ হয়ে জন্মালেই সত্তিকারের মানুষ হওয়া যায়না। এজন্য চাই মনুষত্ব অর্জনের দীক্ষা। মানবসেবা সামাজিক মানুষের সেই দীক্ষার যথার্থ মন্ত্র। সমাজের অসহায়, সর্বহারা, হতাশাগ্রস্ত মানুষকে প্রাণবন্ত করে তোলাই মানুষের পরম ধর্ম। নিজের স্বার্থ ত্যাগ করে অপরের সেবায় আত্মনিয়োগ করার নামই মানবসেবা। পৃথিবীতে যত মহৎ কর্ম আছে তার মধ্যে মানব সেবার স্থান সবার ঊর্ধ্বে। মানব সেবা মহান ব্রত। মানবজীবনের প্রতিটি মুহূর্ত অন্যের দানে ও সেবায় ধন্য। ধর্মীয় চেতনায় মানুষকে সেবাধর্মে অনুপ্রাণিত করেছে।  বিভিন্ন ধর্মের মধ্যে আচার-অনুষ্ঠানগত পার্থক্য থাকলেও মানবকল্যাণের শিক্ষা সকল ধর্মের মধ্যে বিদ্যমান। ইসলাম, হিন্দু, বৌদ্ধ, জৈন, খ্রীষ্ট সব ধর্মের মধ্যেই বারবার উচ্চারিত হয়েছে মানুষের মধ্যে স্রষ্টার অস্তিত্ব। বলা হয়েছে — মানব সেবাই স্রষ্টার সেবা। মহাপুরুষগণ তাদের উপদেশ বাণীর দ্বারা জগৎবাসীকে এ শিক্ষাই দিয়েছেন যে, ‘সৃষ্টির সেবাই স্রষ্টার সেবা, মানবসেবাই সমাজসেবা।’ মানবসেবায় সকলেরই অধিকার রয়েছে। এ অধিকার কোনো কিছু আদায়ের লক্ষ্যে নয়। যাঁরা বিত্তবান তাঁরা গরীব দুঃখীর অভাবে অর্থ দান করবেন। যাঁদের সামর্থ্য নেই তাঁরা করবেন শ্রমদান। মানবসেবায় কায়িক শ্রমের মূল্য অপরিসীম। অর্থ-শ্রম-প্রেমবোধেই সেবাধর্মের পূর্ণতা। মানবতার কল্যাণের জন্য বিশ্বব্যাপী নানা ধরনের জনসেবামূলক প্রতিষ্ঠান গড়ে উঠেছে। মানবসেবা মানুষের মনুষ্যত্বকে জাগ্রত করে, বাঁচিয়ে রাখে। মানবসেবার মধ্যেই জীবনের সার্থকতা নিহিত।
